My slightly unhealthy fascination with women with guns has led to this painting of Pvt. Vasques, of the Alien Trilogy. I have always liked
this particular character, who kicks the bucket it early on in the movie. When looking at the still image first, I noticed the cross-like
metal structure in the background, which immediately reminded me of a crucifiction scene. The gold line, separating the person from
the rest is there to get a more iconic feel to the painting, as is the gold wash over the background. Another, simular painting is "Icon with Pvt. Vasques"
